1. What is couple counseling?There is confidentiality between a client and psychotherapist. Exceptions to this are: Any suspected abuse (child, dependent adult, or elder abuse).A client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person. A client intends on harming themselves.In these situations, the therapist is required to report this to the appropriate authorities immediately to ensure safety.
